Parts of these assignments require use of finite element modeling codes. Students taking 16.225 had access to the 'SumMIT: Educational software for the teaching of Computational Mechanics of Materials, Massachusetts Institute of Technology' source code. MIT OpenCourseWare users can contact the course instructor and SumMIT author, Professor Raúl Radovitzky, to obtain the software.
