Highlights of this Course
Course Description
This course covers fundamentals of subsurface flow and transport, emphasizing the role of groundwater in the hydrologic cycle, the relation of groundwater flow to geologic structure, and the management of contaminated groundwater. The class includes laboratory and computer demonstrations.
Technical Requirements
Special software is required to use some of the files in this course: .rm, .xls, .m, and FEFLOW® software. FEFLOW® (Finite Element subsurface FLOW system) is a 3-D groundwater modeling software, developed by WASY, a German consulting firm.
