Course Description:

Dyeing & Weave Art Design Specialty of Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts was the grand old department set by Central Technics Academy of Fine Arts in 1956 when it was primarily founded. After artists’ efforts for generations and nearly half-century’s gathering of teaching experiences, the department has become acuminous specialty insight and brought up a group of specialty teachers dedicated to it. In year 1985-1996, taking the “Keeping features, Creating first class courses” as our symbol, we had established high-standard Dyeing & Weave Art Design courses with features. The work in this period made great foundation for the construction and further development courses in the future. In 1997, we started construction items of major subject Dyeing & Weave Art Design Specialty teaching base of light-industry ministry. In 2002, we started construction items of Tsinghua University top 100 Traditional Dyeing & Weave series courses. In 2003, we started construction items of Beijing top courses: Traditional Dyeing & Weave Art.
