| After we posted the Call for Translators online, 4 students at California Institute of Technology took the lead to answer the Call and volunteered to translate OCW into Chinese. They are Qi Yan, Zhao Yuanxiang (Biology), Zhang Lei (Applied Mathematics), and Wei Xiaoliang (Computer Science). "I just heard a talk from the MIT-OCW professor and he mentioned that you are working with MIT to translate the courses." Says Xiaoliang, "I am very interested to help the translation, for both Computer Science courses and mathematics courses." Lei says, "It's really exciting to hear that you have start(ed) the OCW project in Chinese. If possible, I would like to translate some math/physics courses as a volunteer this summer." Thank you all, Yan, Yuanxiang, Lei and Xiaoliang, and all those who offer to help. |
Zhao Yuanxiang: 7.012 Introduction to Biology Fall 2001
