Dr. Peichi Waite just joined the CORE team in Beijing, China. 2004-10-10   Dr. Peichi Waite graduated from Harvard University with a doctorate in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy with a specialization in international education development. She has many years of educational research experience and has worked for the United States Department of Education in Washington D.C., the American Institutes for Research, Harvard Immigration Projects, Harvard Business School, Harvard Professional Programs in Education, UCLA Center for the Study of Evaluation, and the Education Development Center. She also had a previous career as an editor in book publishing and has served as the managing editor of the Sociology of Education series. Dr. Waite has published or presented conference papers in the areas of educational policy, special education, higher education development, literacy and language, and after-school program evaluation. She was born and raised primarily in New York City and shares an interest in helping to expand international cooperation and educational opportunities between the United States and China as part of the CORE team.   close
