Beijing meeting of CORE’s volunteers 2006-10-20 The meeting of CORE’s volunteers in Beijing will be held in Room 712, SiYuan Building in Beijing Jiaotong University at 9:30 am. on 29 October. At this meeting, CORE will recognize what the volunteers have done for CORE in the previous years, and encourage those who are translating OpenCourseWare and make them more active and confident in translation. By doing this ,we hope it could further mutual communication and cooperation between CORE and the volunteers as well as encourage more people to take part in the cause of open sharing of educational resources. Meanwhile, volunteers can benefit from the open education provided by CORE. In addition, CORE is looking forward to accept constructive suggestions and ideas from volunteers, which would make CORE’s work more effective and efficient. Thereby, there will have more attention paid to CORE and the development of open education in China. Prof. Fun-Den Wang, Chairman of CORE, Prof. Liu Dianqiu, Senior Consultant of CORE and Prof. Huang Meiqi, Chairman Assistant of CORE will attend this meeting.
