Since the 1st batch of Open Education Scholarship winners' name list was released on Nov, 26, 2006, the 6 winners devoted themselves into the research work. Until now, 4 of the winners including Prof. Zhu Hong from Dalian University of Technology, Du Wei from Beijing Jiaotong University, Ni Haiying from Zhejiang University and He Junhui from Chongqing University, have finished their research papers. The other two winners will finish their research and complete the papers soon. After collection and professional evaluation of the research papers, CORE will publish the excellent papers on CORE website for public use.

Open Education Scholarship is set up to advance the development of open education in China. Since its establishment, lots of university students, undergraduates and teachers have been attracted and several of them applied for the research. There are altogether 6 winners in the 1st batch of the scholarship.
