About the Scholarship
Thanks to the generous support of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, we are very pleased to announce that this year we are offering four scholarships to OpenEd 2008. The scholarships include complimentary full registration and four nights of hotel accommodations in Logan, plus up to $750 towards your travel!

Applying for the Scholarship
To apply for an OpenEd 2008 Scholarship, simply submit an essay titled "Why I Deserve an OpenEd 2008 Scholarship." Essays should be no longer than one thousand words (1,000 words), and can include topics like the reasons you want to attend the conference, what you hope to gain from attending the conference, and potential benefits to others of your attendance. All essays should be submitted by email to David Wiley at david [dot] wiley [at] gmail [dot] com by the due date. Winners will be announced by August 1, 2008.
